Rob McKenna’s momentum takes a stumble

Rob McKenna’s frantic effort to keep his momentum kind’a flopped.  He led in the polls through out most of the year.  Then, when we took one of the two polls that really matter, the primary election, working class voter’s found Rob McKenna not measuring up.  He lost to Jay Inslee 43% to 47%.  This is after all the hyped up grassroots support and money raising.

This is the last opportunity for you to sign up for this weekend’s big volunteer push. The primary election is in less than a month and ballots will be in mailboxes next week!

We have events happening all across the state this weekend and we need your help. Find an event in your area below:

You know how important it is for our state that Rob wins in November.  He will enact positive solutions for the issues we face, bringing new ideas to a state government that desperately needs them.

In order for Rob to win, we all need to step up now and help him.

If you can’t make the volunteer push this weekend, please support your fellow team members with a contribution.  Your contribution of $100, $50, $25 or $10 will provide team members with phones, printed materials, and water so they stay hydrated on their door knocking routes.

Rob is working hard – spending his weekends, lunch breaks and evenings contacting voters to tell them about his New Direction for Washington State.  We all need to do our part to help Rob – so volunteer or support your fellow team members today!

Thanks team!

You can almost hear the bated breath in Rob McKenna’s campaign emails about Jeb Bush coming to Washington State to campaign for him. He is even selling raffle tickets.  While Rob McKenna is smoozing with the Bush family–the family that brought us two unwinnable wars, one of the worst recessions in our country’s history, and the almost complete loss of an American city (remember Hurricane Katrina?), families in Washington are losing their homes and going without health care.

Bush supports Rob McKenna

Next week, I’m excited to welcome former Governor Jeb Bush of Florida  focused on education reform . . .

. . . Don’t forget, if you haven’t had a chance to enter our raffle for tickets to one of the events with Gov. Bush, enter now. We will choose a winner at the end of the week. It’s only $5 per entry and there is no limit to the number of entries you can make. (June 19)

Upcoming Event With Jeb Bush – June 27

As a member of our Campaign Team, we are offering you a chance to win tickets to attend an upcoming event with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.  Space is limited, and we only have a few spots left!

You can enter a raffle to win a free ticket to the event at www.RobMcKenna.org/raffle.  Raffle tickets are only $5, and you can purchase as many raffle tickets as you would like.  Gov. Bush is a leader in education reform, so this will be a great opportunity to hear about the successful ideas he championed to improve outcomes for kids in Florida. (McKenna email, June 14)

Looking forward, I’m also excited to announce that former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will be in town later this month for a series of events with Rob. Governor Bush was a tireless advocate for education reform while in office, and he continues that work through his Foundation for Excellence in Education. Stay tuned for a chance to win tickets to one of the events next week. (McKenna email, June 11)

Not sure about Rob McKenna? Bush supports him

If you have not made up our minds about Republican Rob McKenna, may this will help.  Jeb Bush of Florida is actively supporting him.  This is the same Bush who was was in charge of the State during the recount fasco of 2004 that gave us his disasterous brother George Bush.

This is the same Jeb Bush who was in charge of the state during the Terri Shiavo charade for partisan gain.  Jeb interfered with the family matter and order a last minute intervention into her medical care against her husband’s wishes.  Now Jeb Bush is supporting Rob McKenna.  That cannot be healthy for the State of Washington.

Jeb Bush supports Rob Mckenna for Governor

Tomorrow, we move into a new phase of the public side of the campaign. At 3:30 p.m., Rob and former Congressman Inslee will take the stage in Spokane for the first debate of the gubernatorial campaign. This will be the first opportunity for many people to see the stark contrast between our campaigns – one of positive, forward looking solutions and one that offers more of the same failed policies that we see in Olympia today.

The debate will be aired live on our state’s public affairs station, TVW, as well as Northwest Cable News, and will also be streamed live on TVW.org. Be sure to tune in if you can, it promises to be a good event.

Team, the momentum is on our side and we can’t stop now. Please consider making a $5 donation and taking ownership of a piece of this campaign. Also, please sign up to volunteer to help with our phonebanking and doorbelling activities in your area. Together, we can move this state in a New Direction.–Statement by the McKenna campaign.
